QK Emulsion Inc. completed a pilot project for Shun Yuan Trading and Construction Pte. Ltd. (SYT), Singapore, using its QKE250 blending machine and NanoQuantum 100 additive to produce QK White Diesel Emulsion (WDE). The project was carried out from December 2022 to April 2023 and was designed to compare the performance of QK WDE with conventional diesel in a Mitsubishi Canter lorry truck and a 150 kW Cummins generator, while also evaluating fuel stability under demanding operating and non-operating conditions.

The pilot summary reports that the lorry achieved 8.06 km/l with QK WDE compared with 7.45 km/l on 10 ppm diesel, while generator consumption with QK WDE was calculated at 9.85 L/h versus an approximate diesel benchmark of 10 L/h at the same load. The report also states that operators did not observe any loss of power, and that the WDE remained stable under extended stops, irregular operation, and storage in the machinery tank without manual mixing.
